Salmon (All 5 Pacific Species), Trout & More
Bristol Bay, Alaska

Providing the most thrilling Alaskan fishing experience is always our number one concern, but at this Bristol Bay fishing lodge guests can expect a multi-faceted adventure. Each day anglers fly to different salmon and trout fishing hot spots. These special flights allow for an unbeatable Alaskan outdoors experience – this is the best way to explore Alaska’s vast and diverse wilderness. Besides the incredible landscapes, guests can expect to see a huge variety of Alaskan wildlife including bald eagles, brown bears, black bears, moose, caribou, arctic loons, dall sheep, tundra swans, otters, sea lions and even whales.

The Fishing
The fishing lodge is strategically situated in the midst of some of Alaska’s premier fresh water fishing areas. Bristol Bay is teeming with a variety of fish species that include all five Pacific Salmon species: King Salmon (Chinook), Silver Salmon (Coho), Red Salmon (Sockeye), Pink Salmon (Humpy) and Chum Salmon. This part of Alaska is also famous for its spectacular Rainbow Trout fishing, Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling, Arctic Char and Lake Trout. These feisty fish are all wild and provide a thrilling challenge for anglers of all skill levels. Professional Alaskan fishing guides, some with more than 25 years of experience, are always with anglers to put them in the best possible spots and provide expert advice.

The Lodge
The fishing lodge sits on five striking and secluded wooded acres along the shoreline of Bristol Bay’s Lake Clark. The camp is comprised of two grand cedar-wood lodges that border nine smaller cabins. The lodge has two hot tubs and two wood-fired saunas. One of the main lodges is used primarily for dining and cocktails while the other is used mostly for recreation and evening get-togethers. The recreation lodge has a pool table, a fly-tying area, a full bar, videos and plenty of lounging room around the ever-glowing fire. Since the fishing lodge is lakeside instead riverside, there are very few bugs to contend with in the evenings. This allows guests to spend afternoons and evenings outdoors. Volley ball games, horse shoes tournaments and sing alongs around the bon fire are all popular activities.

Other Activities
Non-angling adventures include a wide variety of daily excursions into the Alaskan wilderness. With four private planes at the fishing lodge’s disposal, the possibilities are endless. From the land and from the sky, Southeast Alaska is the perfect place for Alaskan photo safaris. Guests can also hike amongst wild herds of caribou, dig for clams on beautiful Alaskan beaches, safely explore bear country with private guides, kayak in the mountain lakes, float Alaska’s pristine rivers, explore the Shelikof Coast and its resident otters, sea lions and sea birds, fly into a volcanic crater lake, visit the Land of 10,000 Smokes … the list goes on and on.

Location
The location of the fishing lodge is ideal. Within the boundaries of Bristol Bay, the lodge is in the Lake Clark National Park and Preserve...the nearest town being Port Alsworth. For quick reference, the fishing lodge is approximately 160 miles southwest of Anchorage. One-hour private charter flights from Anchorage’s Merrill Field take guests directly to the lodge, passing through the breathtakingly gorgeous Lake Clark Pass along the way.
